沼津手話言語条例について
沼津市手話言語条例が令和2年4月1日に施行されました。この条例は、手話が言語であるとの認識の下、手話に対する理解や、聞こえないことへの理解を促進し、誰もが安心して暮らせる共生社会の実現を目指して制定されました。
条例では、基本理念、市の責務のほか、市民や事業者が努めるべき役割について定めています。市の責務手話や聞こえないことに対する理解を広め、手話の普及や手話を使いやすい環境づくりのための施策を講じます。市民の役割手話や聞こえないことに対する理解を深め、手話を使用しやすい環境づくりに努めましょう。事業者の役割手話の使用に配慮するなど、ろう者等が利用しやすいサービスの提供や、働きやすい職場環境づくりに努めましょう。
The Numazu City Sign Language Ordinance
The Numazu City Sign Language Ordinance came into effect on April 1, 2020 (Reiwa 2). This ordinance was established based on the recognition that sign language is a language. It aims to promote understanding of sign language and hearing disabilities, and to realize an inclusive society where everyone can live with peace of mind.
The ordinance stipulates the basic principles, the responsibilities of the city, and the roles that citizens and business operators should strive to fulfill.
